Next to Liberia, the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has said that Nigeria has beaten South Africa and Egypt to emerge as the largest ship tonnage in Africa.
Director General of NIMASA, Dr Dakuku Peterside who made this known, attributed the feat to the Tonnage of Ships reportedly published by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in 2019.
