Mobile network operators (MNOs) in the country added 10.1 million internet users in the first three months of this year, the New Telegraph has learnt.
While internet subscription has been on a steady increase over the years, the number of new subscribers recorded between January and March this year came as the highest to be recorded in three months. This brought the number of active mobile subscriptions in the country to 135.8 million as of March ending. Throughout last year, mobile internet subscriptions in the country increased by 14 million from 111.6 million in December 2018 to 125.7 million in December 2019.
